The Achedaway Pro is described as the right massager for those who need a deep tissue massage after an intense workout. But how good is the massage gun? That’s what I want to tell you in this review. I bought the Achedaway Pro and used it extensively myself.

Summary
- The Achedaway PRO is one of the best massage guns from my test. This is mainly due to the high power, which makes it perfect for intensive massages.
- In addition, it comes with four attachments. This makes the massage gun versatile. Thanks to 16 mm amplitude, even the deep tissue is massaged.
- The battery is replaceable and can be easily replaced in case of a defect.
- However, the Achedaway PRO also has disadvantages. For example, it is quite heavy and somewhat unwieldy.
- The volume at the two highest levels is also too loud. However, it remains within limits on the first three levels.

Scope of Delivery and Attachments
The Achedaway Pro is delivered directly in the outer packaging. This is not particularly attractive, but it is all the more sustainable since it saves on cardboard.
At first, you only see the carrying bag in the packaging. In turn, it contains the massage gun and the necessary accessories. All in all, the following is supplied:
- 1 x Achedaway Pro
- 1 x Ball Attachment
- 1 x Flat Head Attachment
- 1 x Fork Attachment
- 1 x Bullet Attachment
- 1 x Carry Bag
- 1 x Charger
- 1 x Manual
Thus, basically everything you need to use the masaghe gun is supplied. Therefore, I do not want to dwell on the scope of delivery. Instead, let’s take a look at the attachments of the Achedaway Pro:
The ball attachment is a standard attachment. Accordingly, it must not be missing from the Achedaway Pro. It is quite soft and can therefore be used not only for almost all muscles but also for more sensitive areas.
The flat head attachment is also one of the typical attachments of massage guns. In this massager, the flat head attachment has a very large surface area. This makes it very suitable for massaging large muscle groups, such as the thighs or chest muscles.
The fork attachment has a gap in the middle, as you can see in the picture. This allows bones, tendons, and ligaments to be left out. It makes sense to use this attachment along the spine or on the calves.
The bullet attachment is hard and has only a small surface. It can be used to massage individual muscles in a more targeted manner. The attachment can be used, for example, for muscle tension or trigger points.
As you can already see from the description, the attachments can be used for different applications. I cannot criticize anything here. At most, a metal attachment would be desirable to perform massages with oil or gel. However, you can also do that with the flat head attachment.
I can’t say anything negative about the quality, either. All attachments look very high quality. Likewise, they feel enormously pleasant on the skin.
Functionality
The Achedaway Pro has the following five speed levels:
- 1st Level: 1,700 rpm – 28 Hz
- 2nd Level: 2,000 rpm – 33 Hz
- 3rd Level: 2,300 rpm – 38 Hz
- 4th Level: 2,600 rpm – 43 Hz
- 5th Level: 2,800 rpm – 47 Hz
Thus, the massage gun covers quite a good frequency range. However, I would have liked a slightly lower rpm on the first stage. For beginners, this might be a bit too high, as it feels quite intense, in my opinion. Here you can see that the massage gun is by no means for pure relaxation but actually has rather sporty active people as a target group.
The amplitude also plays an important role. This is a full 16 mm for the Achedaway Pro. This allows the deep tissue to be massaged without any problems. I also noticed in my self-test that it is not pure vibration therapy but actually a percussion massage!
Usability and Handling
Operating the Achedaway Pro is child’s play. There is only one button, which is located at the top of the massage gun. When this is held down for a few seconds, the motor in the massager starts. Holding it again turns the motor off.
Pressing the button again will cycle through the levels. The current level is indicated by small lights to the left of the button.
The handle of the massage gun is unfortunately quite thick, which is not gerate good for handling. Thus, holding it becomes quite exhausting after some time.
The weight is also not an advantage here. The Achedaway Pro weighs 2.63 lbs (1,194 g) without the attachment and 270 lbs (1,224 g) with the ball attachment. This makes it one of the heaviest models on the market. This makes holding it particularly strenuous for untrained people.
Power Supply
For the power supply, there is a battery with 3,200 mAh in the Achedaway Pro. This is a very good value. Accordingly, one charge lasts for several hours without problems.
The battery status is displayed via small lights to the right of the button. The more of them light up, the fuller the battery is. However, I could not find an exact explanation for the respective battery state.
The battery is simply charged via the included power adapter. This is plugged into the bottom of the battery and connected to a power outlet. The Achedaway Pro has one advantage: The battery is removable. This allows you to buy a replacement battery and use it while the other one is being charged. This is especially helpful in the professional field of use.
There is another advantage due to the replaceable battery: It is easy to replace the battery with another one in case of a defect. This is much easier and more cost-saving than replacing the entire massage gun.
Noise
I measured the volume of the Achedaway Pro from a distance of 40 cm and got the following values:
- 1st Level: ~ 52 dB to 53 dB – similar to conversation
- 2nd Level: ~ 54 dB to 55 dB – similar to loud conversation
- 3rd Level: ~ 61 dB to 62 dB – similar to road traffic
- 4th Level: ~ 69 dB to 70 dB – similar to a vacuum cleaner from short distance
- 5th Level: ~ 70 dB to 71 dB – similar to a vacuum cleaner from short distance
This means that the Archedway Pro is not a particularly quiet massager. The volume is still acceptable on levels one and two. It is also loud on the third, but not too loud yet. This looks different on the last two speed levels. Here, the massage gun is one of the loudest I’ve ever had in my hands. A particularly relaxing massage is not possible with it. However, this does not correspond to its field of application.
Material and Quality
The Achedaway Pro is made of basically all plastic. This is the case with many massage guns. The Achedaway massager also looks very sturdy. On the one hand, this is due to the matte surface. On the other hand, the material seems to be quite thick.
The manufacturer has also not skimped on the processing. All edges on my massage gun are very smooth and cleanly finished. The same applies to the gaps, which were kept very small.
When it comes to smell, there are always negative things to report when massage guns have a handle made of rubber. However, this is not the case with the Achedaway Pro. It simply smells new. Only the ball attachment smells slightly of silicone, which is not at all annoying.
Price Performance
I paid €252 for the Achedaway Pro myself. The normal price on the manufacturer’s website is $299. However, with a coupon, which is available every now and then, the price could also be reduced to about $250.
In terms of price, the Achedaway Pro is rather in the higher range. For example, it is a bit more expensive than the Ekrin B37. In return, however, the massage gun achieved very good scores in almost every rating category. Therefore, I would still call the price fair.

Conclusion – Achedaway Pro Review
Summary
The Archedway Pro is specially designed to allow athletes to perform an intensive massage at home and thus improve their recovery. This is clear from the description of the manufacturer. But my own test showed the same.
The massage gun has a powerful motor. At the same time, the equipped massage head can massage deep into the tissue thanks to the impact depth of 16 mm. As a result, even deeper muscles are worked and better regenerated. Also, the operation is very easy and can be learned by anyone.
Apart from the many advantages, it basically has only two disadvantages. On the one hand, it is quite heavy, which is a disadvantage when handling it. On the other hand, it is very loud (especially on the two highest levels). This makes a relaxing massage in quiet environments not possible.
I can thus definitely recommend the Archedway Pro despite its somewhat higher price.
