The T2 and C2 from Bob And Brad belong to the same brand. Moreover, they look similar and are in a similar price range. So what are the differences between the two massage guns? And which of the two is better? I asked myself the same questions. To answer them, I bought both massagers and tested them extensively. In the following product comparison, you can find out what I learned:

Scope of Delivery and Attachments
The scope of delivery of the two massage guns is basically identical. Both the Bob And Brad T2 and Bob And Brad C2 are delivered in a black cardboard box. In this is a carrying case, which in turn contains the massage gun and all accessories. I’ve listed what’s included in the comparison table above.
Not only is the range of attachments the same for both massage guns, but also their quality. All of the massage heads are very well made. They also feel pleasant on the skin.
Both massage guns also lack a metal attachment, in my opinion. A massage with oil or a sports gel is therefore not possible.
Functionality
The two massage guns have more things in common when it comes to functionality.
The T2 from Bob And Brad has five adjustable power levels. They have the following shock frequencies:
- 1st Level: 2,000 rpm
- 2nd Level: 2,300 rpm
- 3rd Level: 2,600 rpm
- 4th Level: 2,900 rpm
- 5th Level: 3,200 rpm
The Bob And Brad C2 has five power levels with the following shock frequencies:
- 1st Level: 2,000 rpm
- 2nd Level: 2,300 rpm
- 3rd Level: 2,600 rpm
- 4th Level: 2,900 rpm
- 5th Level: 3,200 rpm
As you can see, the shock frequencies are identical in both models. These are not bad, but not particularly good either. The frequency of 2,000 shocks per minute at the lowest level is very intense. This makes the device suboptimal for beginners.
The impact depth of the Bob and Brad T2 is 10 mm. The Bob and Brad C2 has a depth of 8 mm. This gives the T2 a clear lead. It can reach the deeper tissue better than the C2.
Usability
In terms of usability, both massage guns are also on the same level. Both have a single button for control, which is located at the top of the device. Holding this button starts the motor in the massager. If the button is held again, the Bob And Brad T2 or C2 turns off.
You can cycle through the levels by simply pressing the button while the motor is on. When pressed at the highest level, the motor switches off again. The current power level is displayed above the button. Five small lights are available for this purpose.
This makes both the Bob And Brad C2 and the Bob And Brad T2 very easy to operate. Here they do not differ noticeably from most other massage guns.
Handling
When it comes to handling, I first look at the weight. The T2 weighs 1.59 lbs (723 g) without the attachment and 1.64 lbs (744 g.) with the ball attachment. The weight of the C2 is lower at 1.46 lbs (664 g) without the attachment and 1.51 lbs (685 g) with the ball attachment. However, it should be remembered here that the C2 is described as a mini-massage gun. Accordingly, it should still be much lighter. The T2, on the other hand, is in the good weight range for a normal massage gun.
When it comes to the handle, the two massagers again take nothing from each other. Both handles are very narrow and can be gripped very well. A rubber coating prevents the massage gun from slipping out of hand too easily (e.g., when you sweat). That’s how it should always be!
Power Supply
For power supply, the Bob And Brad T2 contains a battery with a capacity of 4,000 mAh. That is a top value! The C2 from Bob And Brad also does not have to hide with a battery capacity of 2,500 mAh. Both massage guns last for several hours with a fully charged battery. The actual battery life depends on the level used, of course. The higher the level used, the more power is consumed.
The battery of both devices is charged via a USB-C port. The included cable is simply plugged into the massage gun and connected to a power source (e.g., PC, power bank). Alternatively, of course, any common USB-C charging cable from a cell phone, etc., can be used.
The current battery status is displayed via four small lights on the handle. The following applies to both the T2 and the C2:
- 75 % to 100 % battery charge: four lamps light up
- 50 % to 75 % battery charge: three lamps light up
- 25 % to 50 % battery charge: two lamps light up
- 10 % to 25 % battery charge: one lamp lights up
- 0 % to 10 % battery charge: one lamp flashing
Unfortunately, the battery is not replaceable in either massage gun. This means: If the battery is defective, you have to replace the entire device. I give deductions for this!
Noise
I measured the volume of both massage guns from a distance of 40 cm. For the Bob And Brad T2, I got the following values here:
- 1st Level: ~ 57 dB to 59 dB – similar to road traffic
- 2nd Level: ~ 52 dB to 53 dB – similar to a conversation
- 3rd Level: ~ 52 dB to 53 dB – similar to a conversation
- 4th Level: ~ 53 dB to 54 dB – similar to a conversation
- 5th Level: ~ 53 dB to 54 dB – similar to a conversation
For the Bob And Brad C2, on the other hand, the following volume could be measured:
- 1st Level: ~ 49 dB to 50 dB – similar to a radio or TV
- 2nd Level: ~ 47 dB to 48 dB – similar to birds chirping
- 3rd Level: ~ 48 dB to 49 dB – similar to a radio or TV
- 4th Level: ~ 49 dB to 50 dB – similar to a radio or TV
- 5th Level: ~ 50 dB to 51 dB – similar to a radio or TV
As you can see from the values, both massage guns are not particularly loud. Nevertheless, the C2 is clearly ahead here. It is very quiet from the first to the last level. Only a slight beeping noise was perceptible on the lower levels.
Material and Quality
The T2 and C2 are identical in terms of material. Both are largely made of plastic. Only the handle is covered with rubber. Nevertheless, they look very high-quality and stable. On the one hand, this is due to the matte surface. On the other hand, the material is quite dense and thus resistant.
Both massagers are also on the same level in terms of workmanship. This is hardly surprising since they belong to the same brand and, thus, the same manufacturer. I can’t criticize anything in this respect, either. The workmanship is not only very clean but actually without any flaws.
The smell is often a problem with (cheap) massage guns that contain parts made of rubber. Also, with the two massage guns from Bob And Brad, I had corresponding concerns. These were, unfortunately, justified. Both the C2 and the T2 emitted an intense chemical smell, especially at the beginning. This has also only settled after some time.
Price
I was able to purchase the T2 from Bob And Brad for 95 €. At this price, it was also available during my test (~ $90).
For the Bob And Brad C2, on the other hand, I bought for 90 €. This is also a typical price for the massage gun (~ $80 to $90).
So both massagers are in a similar price range and overall in the middle of the price range. From a price-performance perspective, I don’t think they take much away from each other. In both cases, you get a good massage gun at a fair price.
Conclusion – Bob And Brad T2 vs C2
The Bob And Brad T2 and the Bob And Brad C2 belong to the same manufacturer. Moreover, they are in the same price range. Accordingly, it is not surprising that there are hardly any differences between the two massage guns. The most important ones can be counted on one hand:
- The C2 is much more compact and also lighter than the T2. Without the attachment, the C2 weighs 1.46 lbs (664 g) compared to 1.59 lbs (723 g) for the T2.
- Both massage guns are quite quiet. Nevertheless, the C2 has the edge here with a consistently lower volume.
- The impact depth of 10.5 mm on the T2 is a bit deeper than on the C2 (10 mm).
- The battery of the T2 has a larger capacity and, accordingly, lasts longer.
Beyond that, both massagers combine high quality, clean workmanship, and simple usability. In addition, both massage guns are charged via USB-C and have an ergonomically shaped handle and five well-designed power settings.
For the mid-range price, I can thus recommend both models. It’s hard for me to say which one you should choose. You have to decide for yourself which features are more important for you.
