Mebak describes itself as a professional manufacturer of health equipment. The Mebak 3 is supposed to be an excellent massage gun that improves muscle regeneration and reduces pain. Whether this statement is true, I would like to find out in this review. For this purpose, I bought the massage gun and used it extensively myself.

Summary
- The Mebak 3 is placed in a good middle range. For a slightly higher price, however, I would rather go for the Ekrin B37.
- It is characterized primarily by its very low weight. Thus, it is very good in the hand.
- The amplitude of 12 mm and the power of the motor are also in the good range. Thus, it can reach the deep tissue without any problems.
- It should also be mentioned that the Mebak 3 has a very good pressure sensor. Such a quality can otherwise only be found in much more expensive models.
- The massage gun has weaknesses in the handle. It smells unpleasantly of rubber and is a bit too wide.
- In addition, the massage gun produces strange noises during use, which bothered me quite a bit despite the low volume at low levels.

Scope of Delivery and Attachments
The Mebak 3 comes in a plain white box. Although this is quite plainly designed, I find it very nice.
In the box are the following contents:
- 1 x Mebak 3
- 1 x Ball Attachment
- 1 x Flat Head Attachment
- 1 x Nubbed Flat Head Attachment
- 1 x Bullet Attachment
- 1 x Fork Attachment
- 1 x D-shaped Attachment
- 1 x Cushion Attachment
- 1 x Carry Bag
- 1 x Attachment Carry Bag
- 1 x Charger
- 1 x Manual
The scope of delivery of the Mebak 3 is thus very extensive and contains everything you need. I especially liked that a separate bag was included for the attachments. This is hardly the case with any other massage gun. In addition, the instructions are comparatively well written.
Of the included accessories, I would like to show you the attachments first. I will discuss the other accessories in the further course of the review.
The ball attachment can be used universally. However, it is particularly suitable for medium to large muscle groups.
The flat head attachment can also be used for almost all muscles on the body. However, I particularly like to use this attachment for massaging the chest muscles because of its shape.
The nubbed flat head attachment is a special form of the flat head attachment. Accordingly, it can also be used for all muscle groups. Due to the nubs on the surface, the attachment gives a special feeling during the massage.
The bullet attachment has only a small contact surface. This allows it to penetrate quite deeply into the tissue and work on individual points in a targeted manner. It is therefore used for deep tissue massage as well as for the treatment of trigger points.
The fork attachment has a recess in the middle. Thus, it is mainly used along the back to avoid hitting the spine here. In addition, the fork attachment can be used on the calves.
The cushion attachment absorbs the shocks due to its design. Accordingly, the force exerted on the body is less than with other attachments. Therefore, the air cushion is mainly used in sensitive areas. I really liked the air cushion attachment of the Mebak 3 because it is particularly soft and made of rubber. This is not the case with most other guns. Most of the time, the attachment is too hard.
The D-shaped attachment has an elongated surface. This makes it quite versatile to use. You can use it to massage the abdominal muscles, neck and lower back.
All attachments make a very valuable and stable impression on me. I particularly liked the surface, which is matte and feels very good on the skin. Due to the variance of the attachments, the massage gun can be used for all muscle groups.
Functionality
The Mebak 3 has a total of five power levels, which are distributed as follows:
- 1st Level: 640 rpm – daily relaxation
- 2nd Level: 1,280 rpm – muscle activation
- 3rd Level: 1,920 rpm – release sore muscles
- 4th Level: 2,560 rpm – enhance blood circulation
- 5th Level: 3,200 rpm – deep tissue massage
As you can see from the list, the impact numbers are very well matched to the different application areas. I also noticed this in the test. Both the relaxing massage and the deep tissue massage worked very well. For the latter, the powerful 60-watt motor and the stroke length of 12 mm are also responsible. This allows the massage head to cover a distance of 12 mm per stroke. Accordingly, it can penetrate deep into the tissue.
Furthermore, it is positive to mention that the massage gun has a pressure sensor. This indicates how hard you press on and whether the pressure is too strong. This worked very well in my test. While other guns strike very late, the Mebak 3 reacts very well to the pressure.
Usability and Handling
The operability of the Mebak 3 is very simple. First, the device is simply switched on using the switch on the bottom.
The device is then operated via a touch surface on the display. If this is pressed, the first stage starts. Each further press switches through the stages. The current stage is shown on the display at all times.
The handling is also quite good. Thus, the pistol lies comfortably in hand. The rubberized grip contributes to this. In addition, the weight of 1.81 lbs (823 g) without attachment is within a good range. This means that even a longer massage is not too strenuous.
My only criticism is that the handle is quite wide. People with very small hands might have problems holding the Mebak 3.
Power Supply
The Mebak 3 contains a battery with a capacity of 2,600 mAh. According to the manufacturer, this can supply the massage gun with energy for about 2 to 3 hours. My test also showed this. The runtime was longer when I used a lower level. All in all, the battery life is averagely good but could, of course, be longer.
The current battery status is always clearly shown on display.
The battery can also be completely recharged in around 3 hours. The supplied power supply unit is used for this purpose. This is simply plugged into a socket and connected to the massage gun. The connection for this is located on the underside of the gun.
Unfortunately, the battery cannot be replaced. This means that if the battery breaks, the entire Mebak 3 massage gun must be replaced. However, since a rechargeable battery only costs $40-$50 and thus much less than the massage gun, I would have liked to see such a feature.
Noise
I measured the volume of all the massage guns in my test from a distance of approx. 40 cm. For the Mebak 3, I was able to determine the following volume for the respective power levels:
- 1st Level: ~ 45 dB to 46 dB – similar to rain
- 2nd Level: ~ 47 dB to 48 dB – similar to croaking frogs
- 3rd Level: ~ 49 dB to 51 dB – similar to birds chirping
- 4th Level: ~ 52 dB to 53 dB – similar to a conversation
- 5th Level: ~ 55 dB to 57 dB – similar to a (very) loud radio
I noticed that the massage gun is very quiet on the lower levels. Only on the highest level was the Mebak 3 quite loud. However, this was not a problem. It rather bothered me that a rattling noise was noticeable on all levels. I deduct a few points for that.
Material and Quality
The Mebak 3 is made of plastic with a matte surface. It is quite hard and thus looks very stable. Only metal models cannot quite match this quality.
I can’t say anything negative about the workmanship either. With some other massage guns, you can discover unclean transitions and edges. None of this was the case with the Mebak 3.
The massage gun itself smells pleasantly of “new”. Only the smell of the handle was not pleasant for me but rather pungent. For this, there is a deduction, even if the smell has been worse for me in other massage guns.
Price Performance
I paid €101.99 for the Mebak 3 on Amazon. When I tested it, the price was also around 90$ to 100$. This puts the massage gun in the upper part of the medium price range. Based on the rating in the other categories, I would rate the overall price-performance ratio as “Good”. It’s true that the massage gun doesn’t deliver any special performance for its price. However, you do get good performance for a fair price here.
Note: Both in terms of price and functionality, the Mebak 5 from the same manufacturer is very similar. Therefore, you should take a look at both to find out which one is better for you. Moreover, one of the two pistols might be on sale right now and therefore cost much less.
Conclusion – Mebak 3 Review
Summary
All in all, the Mebak 3 is a very solid massage gun. Since it is in the mid-price segment, it naturally comes with some weaknesses – the price difference to top models has to come from somewhere.
For example, the Mebak 3’s handle smells unpleasant of rubber and is a bit too wide. In addition, the massage gun produces strange noises during use, which bothered me quite a bit despite the low volume at low levels.
Besides these negative aspects, the pistol from Mebak could of course also collect plus points. For example, the gun is very easy to use and fits comfortably in the hand. In addition, the many included attachments enable a massage of all muscle groups.
However, the biggest plus point is the very good pressure sensor. Such a quality can otherwise only be found in much more expensive models. If this is important to you, you are very well advised to use the Mebak 3.
