The OPOVE M3 Pro is advertised online with a very quiet motor as well as high ergonomics. In addition, there are more than 6,400 reviews with an average of 4.6 stars on Amazon. This makes the M3 Pro one of the best-rated massage guns on the platform.
Whether the manufacturer’s description is accurate and the ratings are justified, I would like to examine in the following test report. For this purpose, I bought the OPOVE M3 Pro myself and tested it extensively.

Summary
- The OPOVE M3 Pro is a solid massage gun with good battery life. Nevertheless, I can’t really recommend it.
- The motor is not too weak with 60 W. The impact depth of 14 mm is also very good.
- It is also very quiet.
- However, I had to find considerable flaws in the workmanship. Thus, there were numerous unclean spots and unevenness at the transitions.
- For the price of the OPOVE M3 Pro, I would therefore rather buy the Ekrin B37. It performed much better in my test.

Scope of Delivery and Attachments
The OPOVE M3 Pro comes in a black package with silver as well as white accents.
The package contains the following things:
- 1 x OPOVE M3 Pro
- 1 x Ball Attachment
- 1 x Flat Head Attachment
- 1 x Fork Attachment
- 1 x Bullet Attachment
- 1 x rounded Bullet Attachment
- 1 x Cushion Attachment
- 1 x Carry Bag
- 1 x Attachment Carry Bag
- 1 x Charger
- 1 x Manual
Thus, everything you need is included in the scope of delivery. I was even positively surprised by the scope of delivery. Only four attachments are listed on Amazon and the like. However, six are included in the scope of delivery:
The ball attachment is often referred to as a universal attachment. It is quite large and can be used for almost all muscles due to its shape. However, due to its size, it is preferably used on larger muscles.
The flat head attachment is also very general purpose. You can use it to work on the legs, but also to massage the chest. in general, it is also suitable for medium to large muscle groups.
The fork attachment is often used along the spine, but also on the walls. The reason for this is very simple: The recess in the middle allows bones and tendons to be specifically omitted.
The bullet attachment has only one very small point where it touches the body. As a result, a lot of force is transferred to a single point. Therefore, in turn, the attachment is very suitable for trigger point massages or massage the feet.
The rounded bullet attachment is almost identical to the normal bullet attachment. Only the end is a little rounded and thus has a slightly larger contact surface.
The air cushion attachment absorbs the shocks of the gun. This has been achieved very well in this model. This makes the attachment highly recommended for sensitive areas.
As you can see, all the important attachments for the massage gun are included. With these, you can optimally process all areas of the body. I was also completely convinced by the quality of the attachments.
Functionality
The OPOVE M3 Pro has three power levels. These are distributed as follows:
- 1st Level: 1,800 rpm – release sore muscles & fascia massage
- 2nd Level: 2,400 rpm – deep tissue massage & muscle tension
- 3rd Level: 3,200 rpm – trigger point massage
I used all three levels in my test. I find that the different shock frequencies are each very well matched to the different areas of application. The massage for sore muscles was neither too strong nor too weak. For trigger point massage, on the other hand, I could feel the gun very well.
For the latter, the amplitude of 14 mm plays a role, among other things. Accordingly, the attachment covers a distance of 14 mm per stroke. That is enough to hit deep tissue effortlessly.
Also, the power of the motor is 60 watts in a range that supports the different types of massage. Thus, it does not block directly when some pressure is applied to the massage head.
There are no additional functions here, such as a timer or a pressure sensor. There is only an automatic shut down after 10 minutes. I find that quite a shame considering the price of the gun. But you’ll learn more about that later.
Usability and Handling
The OPOVE M3 Pro is very easy to operate. The first step is to switch on the gun. This is done via a small switch on the underside.
When the device is switched on, the top button can be used to switch through the three power levels. Three lights always indicate which power level is currently active.
The handling is also okay, although I have to deduct one point here. First, however, I would like to positively emphasize that the handle is rubberized and ribbed. Thus, it lies well in hand and does not slip away so easily. However, the handle is quite thick. In addition, the weight of the gun is quite high. This is about 2.17 lbs (985 g) without attachment or 2.24 lbs (1,014 g) with the ball attachment. Thus, the handling does not feel optimal during a long massage.
Power Supply
Inside the OPOVE M3 Pro, there is a lithium battery with 2,600 mAh. This is a typical battery capacity for massage guns. According to the manufacturer, the battery is sufficient to operate the gun for about 3 to 8 hours with one charge. I cannot confirm this from my test. Rather, the runtime is in the range of 2 to 4 hours with typical use. Again, this is fairly typical for massage guns.
The current battery level is displayed at the top of the gun. There are five small lamps with the following meanings for this:
- 100 % battery charge: all five lamps on
- 80 % battery charge: four lamps on
- 60 % battery charge: three lamps on
- 40 % battery charge: two lamps on
- 20 % battery charge: one lamp on
Charging is done via the supplied charging cable. This is connected to a power source (socket) and plugged into the bottom of the massage gun. The complete charging of the OPOVE M3 Pro thus takes about 3 hours.
Furthermore, the battery is replaceable. I find that very good. Should the battery ever break, it can be easily replaced and it does not have to buy the entire gun again. to take out the battery, simply press a switch at the top of the massager and pull out the battery.
Noise
I measured the volume of the OPOVE M3 Pro from a distance of 40 cm. I obtained the following values:
- 1st Level: ~ 49 dB to 49.5 dB – similar to birds chirping
- 2nd Level: ~ 49.5 dB to 50.5 dB – similar to a quiet radio
- 3rd Level: ~ 51 dB to 52 dB – similar to a conversation
According to this, the massage gun is relatively quiet overall. This is especially true for the highest level. Here I tested other devices that were much louder at the same impact frequency. Only on the first level, the gun could be a bit quieter for my sensation.
Also, the volume does not come close to that which the manufacturer promises. This should be between 35 and 55 dB. I deduct one point for this.
Material and Quality
Looking at the material, I immediately noticed that the OPOVE M3 Pro is mostly made of plastic. In addition, the handle is covered with rubber. Thus, it does not quite come close to models made of metal in terms of value. Nevertheless, the pistol makes a high-quality impression. The plastic is quite thick and thus looks quite sturdy.
The workmanship also makes a very good impression at first glance. However, when I took a closer look, I noticed that numerous edges were not processed properly, especially in the upper area. They are not clearly separated from each other. Instead, many unevennesses are visible:
The gun itself has a pleasant smell. However, this does not apply to the handle. This smells very strongly and unpleasantly of rubber. This smell has even rubbed off on my hands. Also, the supplied carrying bags smell so. There are clearly deductions in this category for this. After all, such a smell often indicates plasticizers and similar substances.
Price Performance
I paid €169.99 for the OPOVE M3 Pro myself. Unfortunately, when I subsequently wrote the review, the massage gun was no longer available. OPOVE has probably stopped selling this model. Accordingly, I can not evaluate the price-performance ratio, unfortunately.
Note: Eben if the OPOVE M3 Pro is no longer available online for the US at the time of this review, the OPOVE M3 Pro Max* can be purchased from Amazon and Co.
Conclusion – OPOVE M3 Pro Review
Summary
All in all, the OPOVE M3 Pro is a good massage gun. However, I can not really recommend it. This is not because of the device itself, but because there are much better massage guns in the same price range. At the same time, there are much cheaper guns on the level of the M3 Pro.
If for whatever reason, you still decide to buy the OPOVE M3 Pro, you will get a good massage gun that has pleasant ergonomics, is easy to use, and makes a stable impression. The massage gun comes with all the necessary accessories and attachments that you need for its use.
You can get an overview of the mentioned advantages in the following. There I have also listed the disadvantages:

FAQ & Troubleshooting
My OPOVE M3 Pro is not working - What can I do?
- Make sure that you have set the switch on the bottom to "On". Otherwise, the massage gun will not turn on.
- Make sure that the battery of the massage gun is charged. Before the first use, you should fully charge the battery. Always use the original power supply to do this.
- When you use the OPOVE M3 Pro for a long time at a stretch, it is possible that it has overheated. In this case, leave the massage gun switched off for at least an hour before using it again.
- If this won't help and you still have a warranty on the OPOVE M3 Pro, contact the manufacturer with your problem. They can help you in most cases.
